Famag dowel pointers are designed to quickly and cleanly chamfer the ends of wooden rods or dowels, making them easier to insert into holes. Ideal for furniture making, joinery, and any dowel-based assembly work, these German-made tools deliver fast, repeatable results with minimal effort.
They are made from alloyed tool steel and feature a single cutting edge with a 55 chamfer angle.
Stated size is the largest diameter dowel they can chamfer.
For best results, secure the dowel in a vise and use the dowel pointer by hand or in a portable drill running at low speed.
