To be effective, the Private Trainer should be 12″ smaller than the circumference of your dog’s neck, right below the ears (e.g. an 18″ neck 16″ PT). See the sizing guide.
All Private Trainers include a Duraflex quick-release buckle for easy on/off. The 10″ size is too small for a buckle turn the collar inside out to slide safely over your dog’s head.

Sizing & Safety
Our Private Trainers use elastic bands to hold links from a prong (hidden prong) collar. Choose size that most closely corresponds to the measurement at the top of the dog’s neck, behind the ears. When properly fitted, there should be a gap of 12″ between the two metal hardware pieces at the back of the neck.
